One of the most effective elements of school redesign is partnering with members of industry and the community. While this is an integral component of career & technical education, it is something that many educators and educational institutions struggle with. This presentation will afford participants real methods and resources to identify, cultivate, implement, and sustain the types of partnerships that will benefit ALL stakeholders but most importantly, students. Authentic examples will be shared so that participants will have these in their toolbox for success. Participants will recognize how partner engagement leads to strengthening local advocacy and how it is connected to national advocacy.
